Even though I grew up with video games, I never actually played Tetris. I was more into non-puzzle genres. Now that the wonder for games I used to have is pretty much gone, I started playing sudoku just last year and now I’m really into Tetris. And this just happened within the past week. 💀

Last week was my 10-day staycation. Things are pretty stressful at the moment, so I only went out a couple times. Anyway, I just searched for “online Tetris” and the first result was the browser version you can play. I played a bit and got a little better then started watching some videos of pro players and picked up some techniques. My highest score so far is just over 70k! 😅 My reflexes aren’t what they used to be and playing Tetris on a phone with a touch screen is not ideal lol

I played earlier today on a keyboard and got up to 76k. I’d be happy to play with a controller and get 100k. But knowing how I operate, I might suddenly stop and move on to something else before that happens.

After telling my friend about all this the other day, he recommended Dr. Mario since it’s—in his words—better than Tetris. Is that so?! That’s another game I never go into.

I did play Pokemon Puzzle League back on the N64, though! 🥰
